VineHop Festival – the annual celebration of the Mornington Peninsula’s crafty delights – is returning for a fifth time in November and we’ve got two double passes to give away to the event’s Sunday Sesh.
Following VineHop Saturday on November 12, where attendees are shuttled around eight participating Mornington Peninsula venues in festival buses, the Sunday Sesh encompasses all that’s good about the region’s produce in the one place – namely The Briars in Mount Martha. The Bamboos and Ash Grunwald-headlined Sunday event will showcase over 20 craft beverage bars – 10 of which are from breweries – for an all-ages event the whole family can enjoy.
To go in the draw to win one of two double passes to the VineHop Fesitval’s Sunday Sesh on November 13, simply email us at info@beerandbrewer.com with VineHop as the subject line. Include your full name and mobile number and we’ll draw the winners at random at 9am AEST on September 2.
“We’re thrilled to be back for our fifth full Peninsula VineHop Festival this year, bringing together so many of the incredible craft beverage brands,” event producer Lisa MacGregor said.
“Wolf of the Willows, Escape Brewing and Frankston Brewhouse are joining us this year for their first VineHop (and) they add to a great line-up of craft beer producers (that include) Smart Brothers Brewing, Dainton Brewery, Jetty Road Brewery, Red Hill Brewery, St Andrews Beach Brewery, Two Bays Brewing Co, Bonza Brewing (and more).
“With the days now getting longer and Spring not too far away, it’s exciting knowing we have some certainty compared to the past two years.”
VineHop Saturday takes the familiar format of a multi-venue winery tour but on a festival scale as it incorporates popular Mornington Peninsula venues including Mock Red Hill, Hickinbotham of Dromana, Blue Range Estate, Bayview Estate, Dromana Estate and Stumpy Gully alongside two “hub” venues – the Block Party at Brasser Avenue and the Festival Hub at The Briars. Shuttle buses transport attendees between locations while food trucks, DJs and live music can be found at each venue.
For the Sunday Sesh at The Briars, tickets for kids are free and they’ll be well catered for with entertainment and activities throughout the day, including massive slides and bungee trampolines, plus the Kids Dreaming Centre with circus play, Faery Emma, The Funky Monkey Family and a kids comedy show with Charlie Sillypants. A makers market featuring the works of local creatives will also be running.
