The brands’ brewer, The Little Brewing Company, has teamed up with a new distributor, Hans on Wine, to bring their brews to a new legion of fans.
The Port Macquarie-based brewery first began working with the distributor three months ago, with the company’s principal, Mark Hansford, working on sales of the bottled product. And it is now on the strength of those sales, and an interest in kegged product, that the company will now begin distributing kegs.
According to Warwick Little, The Little Brewing Company’s brewer and director, the company having a keg distributor in Melbourne is a long time coming and they are more than pleased to be working with Hansford.
“We’ve been a bottle producer to date,” he said. “[So we] are currentlylooking to expanding our capacity to service increasing demand, especially for Wicked Elf andMad Abbot in kegs.”
And given the distance from the North Coast of New South Wales to Melbourne, it comes as a relief to Little to know that his kegs are in good hands.
“It’s great to be able to send pallets there and know that Mark is handling sales and distribution,” says Little. “It’s also a win for the many venuesthat haveenquired about our kegs over the years.”
The first kegs to be shipped under the new arrangement went to the Cricket Club Hotel (Wicked Elf Porter), Josie Bones (Wicked Elf Porter) and Cookie (Wicked Elf Witbier).
