Whisky Live is on for 2012 in Melbourne and Sydney. In a packed evening of fun, enthusiasts can taste their way around the fabulous selection of whiskies at the Tasting Expo with old favourites and new favourites on offer. There will also be plenty of food stations just waiting to be matched with the different styles and brands of whisky – try pairing your tasters with cheese or chocolate, or something more adventurous. There’s always something new awaiting discovery at Whisky Live with 71-plus whiskies for tasting – including local brands as well as whiskies from Scotland, Ireland, Wales, Japan, America and India. You’ll have a great night among scores of whiskies, and best of all, you can buy a bottle of your favourite to take home.
And there is more fun to be had at the Whisky Bar where attendees can learn to mix some great whisky drinks as professional bartenders expertly demonstrate how to ‘wow’ your friends with delicious and easy to make whisky drinks and cocktails. And yes, the samples can be tasted while you sit and watch the experts work their magic.
And don’t forget to buy a ticket in the charity raffle for the chance to win a great whisky collection. The prize includes fine whisky from all the stands at the show – a pretty awesome collection. All the whiskies have been donated by the distilleries for the raffle and the money raised goes straight to the Prostate Cancer Foundation.
The Melbourne event is next week, so don’t miss out. Tickets are sold online only or by phoning (02) 9011 2025.
