As stout weather well and truly arrives in parts of the country Guinness has launched The Brewery of Meteorology platform to alert beer lovers of the ideal Guinness-drinking conditions.

Providing an up-to-date ‘pourcast’ via live weather data, the site is also currently offering a Winter promotion for people in Victoria and NSW for a chance to claim a free pint of Guinness whenever the temperature drops below nine degrees Celsius.

Irish celebrity chef Colin Fassnidge has been appointed “meteorologist” for the platform while Guinness has also released a limited-edition range of branded thermals. Visit breweryofmeteorology.com.au/thermals for a chance to win a pair.

Colin said: “As the weather gets cooler, there’s nothing better than rugging up and enjoying a Guinness. I’ll be keeping an eye on the temperature this Winter, and when it drops I hope to see plenty of Guinness-fans donning their Guinness thermals and heading to a cosy pub to enjoy a pint.”
