The Brewers Association (BA) has released its annual lists of the top 50 craft and overall brewing companies in the US, based on beer sales volume.
Of the top 50 overall brewing companies, an impressive 43 were craft brewing companies, one more than last year.
The top eight of the craft brewing list remain the same as last year, with D.G. Yuengling and Son Inc. again coming in at number one, followed by Boston Beer Co, Sierra Nevada Brewing Co, New Belgium Brewing Co, Gambrinus, Lagunitas Brewing Co, Bell’s Brewery Inc and Deschutes Brewery. Minhas Craft Brewery jumped one spot to number nine, replacing Stone Brewing Co., which rounded out the top 10.
The top nine of the overall brewing companies remain the same year-on-year, with Anheuser-Busch Inc again taking pole position, followed by MillerCoors, Pabst Brewing Co, D. G. Yuengling and Son Inc, Boston Beer Co, North American Breweries, Sierra Nevada Brewing Co, New Belgium Brewing Co and Craft Brew Alliance. Lagunitas Brewing Co. jumped one position to complete the top 10.
