Independent Northern Rivers brewery Stone & Wood is proud to share how their Original Pacific Ale is 100% Australian-made – from the malt and yeast to the glue on the bottle cap.
Hazy golden and bursting with tropical Galaxy hop aromas, we brewed the Original Pacific Ale for our home in Byron Bay. The first in its category, it’s a beer that captures the essence of a salty summer by the beach.
But the Original Pacific Ale also reflects our commitment to local suppliers by being 100% Australian-made, thanks to our relationships with local and Australian suppliers.
From ingredients like the malt and Galaxy hops through to packaging materials like our bottles, cans, labels and bottle caps, we’re proud to say that we source 100% of these in Australia and often within a three-hour drive of our Murwillumbah brewery.
Watch the video below as our sustainability manager James Perrin walks you through the lifecycle of the Original Pacific Ale, including our commitment to recycled content – our bottles are 70% recycled glass; our cartons are 50% recycled cardboard – and to ensuring our waste is recycled properly.
We see our Australian suppliers as partners and we have them to thank for being able to brew and package the Original Pacific Ale with local ingredients and materials.
