This week, we catch up with Scott Hooper from The Brew Store Noosa who shares his go-to summer beer recipe, the Noosa Brew Store Lager.
He says, “The Noosa Brew Store Lager is light in ABV coming in at 3.5 per cent. It’s sharp and crisp, and with Nelson and Citra being the showstoppers in this little beauty it has enough flavour to rival any mid-strength beer out there.
“I just love this lager, and so do most of my customers as well as the Noosa Home Brew Club members who make it themselves at home or on the taps out the back of our little store.
“It’s the perfect ‘knock off’ coldie on a Friday afternoon for our Noosa climate. It’s an easy beer to drink and an easy beer to brew as there are minimal hops in the boil. And only having two grains makes it very simple and easy. I’m certain you will all love it too!”
