The Independent Brewers Association (IBA) has announced the appointment of Kaiju Beer’s Callum Reeves as Chair and Bright Brewery’s Evin Craney as Deputy Chair.
Reeves has years of experience in the brewing industry and will bring his knowledge and passion to the role. The appointment comes off the back of Kaiju Beer’s recent success at the AIBAs, where it was named Australia’s Champion Medium Brewery.
Reeves takes on the role of Chair with a clear understanding of its importance to the industry.
“Having been on the Board for the past couple of years and seeing the huge amount of work and leadership undertaken by the IBA led me to stepping up as the Chair.
“I know how crucial it is for the Board and executive to communicate well to our members, to hit our strategic goals, to keep promoting and growing the indie brewing community. I’m honoured to take on this role and work with our extremely talented Board and team,” he said.
Joining as Deputy Chair, Craney has demonstrated an aptitude for community engagement, which has been an asset for Bright Brewery and will benefit the IBA.
