Beer & Brewer is giving one lucky reader a free trip to Melbourne for the second weekend of Good Beer Week, from 18-21 May.
The prize, valued at $3,000, includes return flights for two to Melbourne, three nights’ accommodation at Tyrian Serviced Apartments, and tickets to a bunch of Good Beer Week events. The winner will also receive a one-year subscription to Beer & Brewer.
This year more than 170 venues are involved and the program has been broken down into four streams: Beer Lover, Foodie, Beer Geek, and Good Times. The full program of events can be viewed on the Good Beer Week website.
Kate Paterson, the General Manager of Good Beer Week, said that every beer lover needs to experience how Melbourne comes alive during the festival.
“We really believe that every lover of beer should make the trip to Melbourne for Good Beer Week at least once, so this competition is the perfect opportunity for someone based further afield to see how this city pulls out all the stops for Good Beer Week.

To enter, all you have to do is take a photo with your Good Beer Mate and give us a short explanation as to why you deserve to win. Creativity will be rewarded!

- Fill in the entry form on the Beer & Brewer site and upload your photo, and explain in 25 words or less why you want to take your Good Beer Mate to Good Beer Week
- Entries are open until 5pm on Friday, 28 April and the winner will be notified by Monday, 1 May.
