Dates have been announced for the 2025 GABS festival and tickets are now on sale for its beer and drinks experience across Melbourne, Brisbane, and Sydney.
GABS will be hosting beer, whisky and cocktail pop-up bars from brewers, distillers and food creators across Australia, New Zealand and Europe. There will be 120 brews available at the festival, with many being exclusive to the event.
This year’s festival will be running interactive education sessions and discussions at each event, and activities including a silent disco space and live entertainment.
Between 50-60 craft beer exhibitors will visit each city, gathering at the Brewer’s Lounge to speak with attendees and fellow craft beer enthusiasts. There will be both local Australian and regional products available, with GABS International Bar providing brews from the USA, UK, New Zealand and Germany.
Some of the line-up includes Schlenkerla smoked beer brewery and Weihenstephan brewery accessible from the tap. There will also be non-alcoholic brews available.
Organisers say they are expecting around 40,000 people to visit the festival across all three cities. The event aims to connect breweries with trade and consumers through the showcase of products available to try.
The GABS festival will run over the three cities; Melbourne from the 4-5 April at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, Brisbane from the 23-24 May at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, and Sydney from the 30-31 May at the International Convention Centre.
