Frenchies Brewer’s Got Talent returns!

The Brewer’s Got Talent home brew competition, one of Australia’s leading events for emerging home brewers, as well as beer lovers, will be taking over Frenchies Brewery’s taproom and bistro on Saturday, 22nd February, and tickets are now on sale!

There are two ways you can attend in 2025—by heading down from 3pm for the home brewer tastings only, or by making a day of it and popping down from 12pm for lunch at the bistro followed by a brewery tour, and those all-important tastings from 3pm to 6pm.

So, what’s the day all about?

Each year Frenchies’ invites entrants to get creative with their beer styles, techniques, and malt and hop combinations, and it seems the resulting brews will be no exception in 2025, with over 12 home brewers set to showcase their kegs (or bottles) of liquid gold, which—and while they are subject to change—are currently looking to include everything from golden pilsners and hop-filled IPAs, to bold stouts and punchy sours.

All ticketholders will have the opportunity to sip and sample approximately 30 unique creations that haven’t been poured anywhere else, as well as vote for their favourites—and contribute to the crowning of the 2025 Peoples’ Choice Winner in the process, who will receive a half price brew at Frenchies.

There will also be a tonne of opportunities for attendees to meet the home brewers, learn about the inspiration behind their brews and connect with their fellow beer lovers, and all are invited to stay on for the winners’ ceremony, where the ultimate prize—a beer brand launch program—which will be deliberated over by a judging panel featuring previous winners, as well as industry experts from event partners Beer & Brewer, Cryer Malt, East Coast Canning, The Brew Shopand Yakima Chief Hops, will be announced.
