A GABS 2020 limited edition craft beer six pack, inspired by ice creams, popcorn and a pack of chips, is soon to be released.
With this year’s Australian GABS festivals postponed until later in the year, the GABS team have collaborated with a number of breweries to brew and release their planned Festival Beers in a limited edition six pack. It will be available exclusively via Dan Murphy’s stores and online from Friday 31 July and while stocks last. Included in each pack is a special Winter treat with a $10 discount voucher on the official GABS Craft Beer beanie.
Event Director Craig Williams described the pack as “a taste of the GABS experience to be enjoyed in the comfort of your own home”.
Featured beers include a salt and vinegar sour from Your Mates Brewing Co (QLD), a salted caramel popcorn ale from Bright Brewery (VIC), a hazy XPA from Modus Operandi (NSW), a strawberries and cream milkshake IPA from One Drop Brewing Co (NSW) and a double dose of a Golden Gaytime-inspired beer from South Australia’s Big Shed Brewing Concern.
“You’ve really got a snapshot of the GABS Festival Beer experience in this one six pack,” said Williams.
“When you come to GABS, a big part of the fun is sampling all of these quite incredible and delicious concoctions dreamed up by brewers all around the country. In this pack alone, you’ve got beers inspired by ice creams, desserts, popcorn and even a packet of chips. It just goes to show how
creative the world of beer can be.”
In addition, craft beer lovers are invited to join Williams and all of the breweries involved in the six pack for a live virtual Zoom tasting, a chat with the brewers, plus GABS trivia on Thursday 13 August. Details can be found on the GABS Festival website here.
Renowned as one of the best beer festivals in the world, GABS Craft Beer & Cider Festival brings together many of the leading breweries in Australia and New Zealand to brew and release a new and exclusive craft beer all on the same day and at the same event.
