Following the recently announced partnership between GABS Festival owners SpecTAPular Enterprises and the Schwartz Family Company, the first details have been announced about their brand new Finer Drop premium drink and food festival.
To be staged at The Winx Stand at Sydney’s Royal Randwick on November 18 and 19 this year, the two-day event is described by the organisers in a media statement as “a summer picnic style event that brings together a range of the best premium beverage and gourmet food producers”.
Local beer will be showcased by the likes of multi-award winners Dollar Bill Brewing from Ballarat and Sydney’s Mountain Culture and One Drop, while Seven Seals (Greece) and Garage Project (New Zealand) will bring an international flavour.
Wines on show will include those from 2024 Halliday Winery of the Year Bleasdale plus a number of the Hunter Valley’s premium wineries while spirits makers such as Archie Rose, Banks & Solander, Billsons and Manly Spirits will be in attendance.
A restaurant package will be on offer from Three Blue Ducks while a number of food stands will be operating.
The statement added: “Guests can also browse through a bespoke art gallery with an exclusive selection from some of the Hunter Valley’s most talented artists… Guests can indulge their artistic talents with painting classes by celebrated artist Julianne Ross Alcorn, as they enjoy a range of wines in the Winmark Paint and Sip Sessions or join in the many masterclasses presented by Archie Rose, Makers Mark and others”.
