There is less than a week until the Australian Craft Brewers Conference (ACBC), which will be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre over two days (20-21 May).
The conference features a fantastic programme of content delivered across two presentation streams.
Craft beer pioneer Steve Hindy from Brooklyn Brewery will deliver the keynote address on day one followed by some interesting sessions such as How much does it really cost to make your beer? with Chris Willcock from 4 Pines, Safety in the Brewery with Neal Cameron from The Australian Brewery and Lester Stump from Australian Workplace Management and A long view of the Big Picture with Stone & Wood’s Jamie Cook and Karl Riseborough from Flat Rock Brew Café.
The second day is also packed full of information for budding and seasoned brewers such as New Brewing Techniques: The Centrifuge with Young Henrys’ Richard Adamson, Building a Sensory Panel with CUB’s Tina Panoutsos and Building a Brand Portfolio with Two Birds’ Danielle Allen.
There will also be more than 30 suppliers at the ACBC Trade Expo, with specialist presentations by suppliers each afternoon.
Brewpubs, craft beer venues and hospitality staff should also head along to The Art Of Selling Craft, a one-day symposium held on day two aimed at improving the knowledge of the on-premise trade.
