The 17th edition of Canberra’s Craft Beer & Cider Festival on Saturday, 16 March promises to deliver another fun-filled weekend of award-winning craft beers, exciting food and entertainment.
Held in the streets around the Mercure Canberra in Braddon, the festival will see 48 breweries serving around 250 beers, cocktails and wines, with tickets from $23, including a complimentary drink.
Exhibitors include One Drop, Cypher Brewing, Ambrosia Distillery, Coastal Brewing Company, Sydney Brewery, Mountain Goat, Bentspoke, Thirsty Devil Brewery, Broulee Brewhouse, and many others. Food on offer includes BBQ meat, nachos, burgers, fish & chips and wraps, while local Canberra bands The Burley Griffin and Plump Band will perform live, with a DJ providing additional grooves.
In between tastings, festivalgoers can participate in plenty of fun games like Jenga, Cornhole, and Hook a Tinny, while face painters and balloon artists will provide entertainment for the whole family.
And the fun continues even after the festival finishes, with a shuttle service being offered from Mercure Canberra to Canberra’s exciting Skyfire fireworks at Lake Burley Griffin, which starts immediately afterwards.
