Brookvale’s brewery and distillery precinct, Brookie Trail, is inviting beer lovers and fans of craft beverages to welcome the festive season with its first Christmas-inspired celebration, Brookie Brights.
Taking place daily throughout the month of December, the Northern Beaches precinct will host a calendar of family-friendly events, showcasing the craft of local breweries 7th Day Brewery, Dad & Dave’s, Bucketty’s and Freshwater Brewing, alongside local producers Manly Spirits, Goodradigbee and Sale Pepe Pizzeria.
Mike Beresford-Jones, Chair of Brookie Brights and Owner of 7th Day Brewery, says: “We’re excited to bring the bright lights to the Northern Beaches this Christmas. We’ve teamed up with local musicians and vendors to put together a diverse schedule of festive events and activities for all ages across all of our venues.”
Each day, Christmas light displays will create a festive atmosphere throughout the precinct, illuminating the breweries and setting the scene for a variety of live music performances, including the Oompah Loompah Band and Saskia Walsh, with a festive-themed silent disco scheduled for Friday 20 December.
Throughout the month-long Brookie Brights celebration, patrons can expect exclusive holiday offers, seasonal brews, festive cocktails and themed menu items, including a barrel-aged nitro stout, weisse beer and Kölsch.
Guests who download the digital Brookie Passport will be guided through each venue’s special offers and activity schedules – and those who visit all seven venues over the month will be entered into a draw to win a $500 Christmas booze hamper, with the winner to be announced on New Year’s Eve.
Other activities include free family-friendly games such as foosball and beer garden boules, bad Santa bingo, Christmas trivia and a Christmas market with 10 vibrant stalls featuring favourite local brands.
