The Independent Brewers Association (IBA) have opened up early bird BrewCon 2023 ticket sales while announcing The Australian newspaper columnist and Curtin University professor Bernard Salt as its keynote speaker.
After a three year hiatus the IBA’s expo and trade show returns August 21 – 23 at the Gold Coast Convention & Exhibition Centre which will culminate with the 2023 Independent Beer Awards ceremony.
Early bird tickets are available here until April 5.
In a statement, the IBA said it had “secured one of the most sort after speakers on the Australian corporate speaking circuit” in Bernard Salt (pictured).
Awarded the Member of the Order of Australia in 2017, he heads The Demographics Group having prior founded KPMG Demographics.
“We are thrilled to have Bernard as our keynote speaker,” IBA chair Richard Watkins said. “Data is key to the success of any business so to have a leader in the industry share his knowledge and insights will be invaluable for those attending the conference. This will be a ‘must do’ for the beer industry to discover opportunities and find inspiration to future proof their operation.”
The IBA said securing such a high profile speaker would not have been possible without the support of Business Events Perth who have sponsored the keynote this year ahead of BrewCon being staged in WA next year.
The full BrewCon 2023 program will be announced in a couple of months.
