Mulhouse, the Alsace region’s economic, cultural and tourist hub, has plenty of assets: enviable geographic location, a good transportation network and a multifunctional exhibition park.
“We’re setting off on a new adventure,” declared Jeannine Marois, President of the Mondial de la Bière. “We intend to make the Mondial de la Bière the most important festival of international beers in Europe.”
In June 2012, the 19th Montreal festival presented over 724 brews, among which 295 beers were offered to fans for the first time. The event saw 85,000 visitors in five days.
The Mondial de la Bière is a festival of tasting that showcases the craft brewers’ creativity and know-how. Focused on education, tasting, sharing and networking with the brewers and members of the industry, Biertrotters from around the world always find it a highlight.
