One of the oldest clubs in New South Wales, the Petersham Bowling & Recreation Club has taken up the craft beer mantle in recent years and run with it, much to the delight of their loyal locals.
Featuring the best of local brews from renowned breweries, such as Rocks Brewing Company, Young Henrys and Stone & Wood, the PBC has announced the launch of an additional six taps of craft beer goodness.
The official unveiling will take place on Sunday 30 June with a few mighty special kegs being tapped: Mountain Goat’s (VIC) Rare Breed Surefoot Stout; Stone & Wood’s (NSW) latest Stone Beer; one of only four kegs in NSW of Nail’s (WA) Single Batch Golden Ale; Feral Brewing’s (WA) multi-award winning Hop Hog, and something special from Newtown’s Young Henrys.
Get down to the PBC this Sunday from 2pm for the launch plus live music, DJ on the Green and a pig on the spit.
