Stone & Wood is sponsoring the Grounded Australia festival, a key event that bridges sustainable farming and brewing, highlighting best practices in agriculture and local food systems.

Celebrating sustainable farming and local produce, Grounded Australia’s ‘Farming Better’ festival aims to support agricultural education and cultivation awareness and assist attendees to better understand the landscape and the world of sustainability.

The event will take place on 4-5 December on Fat Pig Farm in Tasmania’s Huon Valley. For those attending the event, there will be food stalls, education sessions, live music while also having access to Stone & Wood’s range of beers. On-site conferences and demonstrations will also be available.

Stone & Wood’s Sustainability Manager Jahdon Quinlan says that from paddock to pint, we all have a role to play in caring for our land.

“Just as the brewing industry boasts passionate brewers committed to both their craft and the environment, the agricultural sector features dedicated farmers who prioritise soil health and conscious cultivation,” he says.

“That’s why we’re thrilled to support Grounded 2024 as Stone & Wood explores how we can engage more farmers, consumers, and suppliers in ‘better farming’ principles.”

Stone & Wood’s previous collaboration with non-profit Sustainable Table’s and the launch of Good Grain impact fund, were able to raise $60,000 to support regenerative grain projects for the brewing industry. Stone & Wood recently introduced its first product using at least 70 per cent malt and 100 per cent hops that are Certified Sustainable — the ‘Northern Rivers Beer.’

Tickets start at $240 and available for purchase at groundedaustralia.com.au
