Good Drinks Australia has re-released old favourite beer, with the return of Gage Road Brew Co’s Little Dove New World Pale Ale to taps and shelves.
Originally launched in 2016, Gage Roads Brew Co.’s Little Dove New World Pale Ale has been a favourite on the awards scene and among the brewery’s fans. Taking out the Champion Australian Beer award at the AIBAs in its first year, Little Dove continued to receive awards and recognition as part of the Gage Roads core range. However, it was retired from the core range seven years after its initial release and hasn’t been available in either cans or kegs since.
Chief Operating Officer Aaron Heary described the creative process behind the beer.
“Creating Little Dove was such a great experience. It was a true collaboration within the brew team. The experience was equal parts fun and challenging, playing out over a few months. I remember us getting together to share beers, talk about what we loved to drink and setting out to create the best beer we possibly could. Those sessions led to Little Dove,” he said.
Little Dove will return for a limited time, available in 500mL tallboy cans and on tap at select Queensland and WA venues.
“Sometimes you need to say goodbye to things you love. But that doesn’t mean they’re gone forever. We all love a comeback and Gage fans have been shouting for it, so we listened. We’re so proud to bring back this special brew a sour winter limited release. I’ve never seen the brewery team so excited. To bring back Little Dove is something that the entire crew are pumped for, and we can’t wait to give beer fans a taste of nostalgia, one tin and pint at a time,” Heary said.
