Collingwoood breweries The Mill and Molly Rose are throwing a Neighbourwood party on July 30 to celebrate their unique Helles lager collaboration.
After brewing a Helles together at The Mill, the hosts took that lager and aged it on French oak staves for three months. Molly Rose then grabbed a portion of this now oak aged Helles and re-fermented it on raspberries in a barrel that had been freshly emptied of a mixed fermentation saison.
To toast their labours The Mill will be pouring the Molly Rose version and vice versa at the Neighbourwood party while a representative from each brewery will be at each other’s place for the day to chat and talk about all the beers.
To encourage people to explore both venues and beers on July 30 between 12pm and 2pm, they’ll be offering a buy one pot, get the other one free promotion. There will also be special mixed four packs for sale on the day.
Both venues will be open for normal trade throughout the festivities and will be serving food and other drinks.
