Range Brewing have launched the Juicy beer festival with the inaugural event to be held at The Fortitude Music Hall in Brisbane on Saturday 9th July.
Juicy will be the first beer festival held in the iconic music hall that’s the largest ballroom-theatre styled venue in Australia. Its two, four-hour sessions will feature over 40 specialty brews from Range and a whole range of other independent brewers from here and overseas. It will also be all-inclusive, meaning the price of entry covers a guest’s entire drinking experience.
Culinary delights will come care of the likes of the Oyster & Stout bar and pop-ups from local restaurants while Sampology, Winston Surfshirt and DJs will entertain.
“We can’t wait to bring all our fellow independent brewers together,” Range’s co-founder Matt McIver said. “For a lot of us, it’s been a while between drinks – so we are counting down the days until we can finally get together and share some quality brews.”
Fellow founder Gerard Martin added: “Matt and I experienced the all-inclusive beer festival model while we were travelling overseas and we knew we had to bring the concept home to Brissie. To also be the first beer festival held at the beautiful Fortitude Music Hall – it’s a beer lover’s dream.”
As well as shining a spotlight on several hyper-local brewers, plenty from further afield will be jetting in for Juicy as well, including Wildflower, Mountain Culture, Bracket and One Drop from NSW, Deeds, Banks, Dollar Bill and Molly Rose in Victoria, Rocky Ridge and Otherside from WA as well as perennial festival favourites Garage Project from New Zealand.
Juicy is an 18+ event with the day session 12pm to 4pm and the night session 6pm t0 10pm.
