4 Pines and Roadshow Entertainment have teamed up to produce a killer brew to celebrate the home entertainment release of Quentin Tarantino’s The Hateful Eight.
‘The Hateful Ale’ is a Belgian Tripel, which packs a punch with its 8 per cent ABV. Pale in colour, the beer hides a body that has as much kick as a Civil War-era shotgun.
According to 4 Pines, The Hateful Ale carries flavours of “nut, banana and clove, with a hint of sweetness coming in to play right at the final moment.”
The Hateful Ale is on a very limited run. It will be available from next Wednesday (25 May) at select venues such as 4 Pines Brew Pub (Manly), 4 Pines Truck Bar (Brookvale) and The Wild Rover, Surry Hills.
The Hateful Eight is set a few years after the Civil War in Wyoming’s Wild West and features Tarantino’s typical dramatic monologues and blood-thirsty action. The movie is available on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital from Wednesday (25 May).
